I recently had a procedure with Dr. Slater at Austin Ear, Sinus and Allergy, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the entire experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the clean, well-organized office and the efficient, professional staff. Great experience. First time patient needing Vertigo/dizziness help. Filled out on line forms. Assistant performed initial info gathering, audio/hearing test, a head CT. Afterwards, I met Dr. Slater. I was actually expecting to see his PA, but delighted that it was Dr. Slater. He explained all of the results. We had a more in-depth discussion about my dizziness. He was very thoughtful in developing his approach and recommending a course of action. Very pleased with everything.
Yet again…. Professional. Communicative. Informative. Kind. Clean. Fun. Most importantly, takes all the time with you that you could ever need. Every time I see Dr Slater I’m reminded that not everyone in modern medicine is just shoveling people through their office as fast as possible for co-pays. His office is a truly unique experience and I wish there were more offices like his out there.
Dr. Slater has been my mom’s ENT for over 20 years, and throughout that time she has always spoken highly of the care and compassion he provides. All of the staff were kind and helpful. I met Dr Slater years ago when I was diagnosed with ototoxicity. He is the same, kind, compassionate man who had an excellent vestibular therapist work with me for a few months, and this is what he is doing for me again.
