I had a tonsillectomy performed by Dr. Schalch last year in July, 2024. It was the best thing I could have done. I have healed super well and it wasn’t as painful as I would have imagined. I saw Dr. Schalch for 2 years in his clinic and at UCSD. I was always treated super well by his staff and felt heard about my concerns. While on vacation we stopped by to get a procedure done for my husband. I happened to ask if they do scans for sinuses as well since I couldn't do it back home. They not only said yes but got me set up with the scans and an appointment right away, but within a few hours I had all the procedures I needed done! 11/10 - will recommend to friends Few things give me greater pleasure than incredible clinical professionals who 1. Genuinely care about wellness & 2. Go out of their way for their patients even in a medical system that says numbers are more important than names. What a great experience from the moment I walked in the door. Everyone I came into contact with was friendly, professional, and informative. Started my appointment with getting a CT scan which was efficient and easy. The PA went over my CT scan results very thoroughly and explained what she saw could be improved with treatment. scheduled my outpatient surgery with Andrew who explained my insurance benefits and was able to get me an appointment quickly. SoCal Breathe Free was able to completely change my breathing through my nose. Everything went extremely smoothly. The staff were all extremely friendly, patient and capable. I highly recommend their great practice!
