I went in with concerns, and I was seen by a physician’s assistant who was very nice. They did a CT scan. He identified a nasal blockage and a deviated septum. Wanted to do an in-office balloon sinusplasty. I don’t have longstanding sinus problems or headaches. I saw a different ENT for a 2nd opinion. They ran a scope down my nose and throat. I went to this ENT earlier this year for severe throat and choking issues as well as sinus congestion. A CT showed my sinuses were completely full, and balloon sinuplasty and turbinate reduction surgery was immediately recommended. At my surgery follow-up, I asked about the labs the Dr. Gould had sent off during surgery, and the provider said she didn’t know about them, had the wrong notes pulled up, and said they would probably call me—but they never did. The staff are all super friendly and helpful! From the receptionist to the nurses, physician assistants, and Dr. Gould, I have nothing but good things to say! The balloon sinuplasty was life changing! I didn’t know how bad I couldn’t breathe through my nose till after that procedure.
Went in for a followup on hearing test that was not forwarded.Doctor suggested a CT scan. I assumed for ears. Was more focused on sinuses. Prescribed sinus spray and Zyrtec. I have not noticed any changes in hearing or sinuses.
Did not personally visit, but was referred to this doctor’s office by Mercy because I am needing an ENT specialist for the issue I have going on currently with my ear. They never called back so I had to call them, just for the person on the phone to act confused and lost as to why I was calling. She eventually said “we don’t do ear stuff” and all they do is nasal. So, no offense to the doctors here or anything, but if anyone is looking for an ear, nose, and throat specialist, they only do “nose stuff” here….
